We took Mom to the hospital on Friday. She was slurring her words and having difficulty walking. She had a small stroke, and luckily there is no blood on her brain. It can take some time for the full effect of the stroke to be visible and she was going up and down yesterday. Hopefully with some good sleep she will perk up. She was very confused in the hospital and with all the noise and interruptions she did not sleep at all during the day so she is probably also exhausted.
We still are drug-free, they did not give her any medications in the hospital.
Today is her birthday, Happy 91st Mom! I hope we all get those genes that make her so healthy and happy. Thanks for the birthday cards, we will use them to brighten up her room.
