Sunday we went to Monica's for the afternoon. Her house looks great, new wood floors, new appliances. She made us an ambitious dinner, pork roast, lamb chops, polenta, risotto, deserts - all home made, and no small feat to do all that. We enjoyed a very nice afternoon and got to see the cats, too. We got home around 5:30 and Mom was done for the day, went right to bed and slept though until the morning.
We got a new CD today, the Best of Jimmy Durante. Mom loves to listen to music and she adores Jimmy Durante so this one should be a big hit.
